First Day of School: Jules"Julian White," my best friend Benny exclaimed as I climbed out of my car in Coleman's school parking lot. "How great it is to be gifted with your presence," he said with a sarcastic grin.  He had worn his "I'm with loser" shirt just for the occasion.

I rolled my eyes. "Eff you, Ben. I'm already pissed enough about this." I shoved my hands angrily in my jeans pockets, which were still slightly damp from the washer. Mom had forgotten to put the load in the dryer last night, so I had woken to a frustrating problem. I hoped no one would notice how much my gray t-shirt clung to my chest. But Benny was never that easy.
